A leading retailer of mobile phones and accessories, faced significant challenges every time it opened a new position. The company’s strong brand visibility attracted between 500 and 1,000 applicants per vacancy—far more than the Talent & Recruitment team could realistically process.
Their main challenges included:
- An overwhelming volume of CVs, making it impossible to review them all in a timely manner.
- A slow, fully manual process that could take several days per vacancy.
- Limited capacity: only about 20% of all applications were actually reviewed.
- Qualifed candidates were being overlooked simply because their CVs were never seen.
As a result, the process became ineicient, exhausting for the team, and carried a high opportunity cost: many of the best candidates were never even considered.


To address this challenge, we developed Match AI, a solution that uses artificial intelligence to analyze and automatically shortlist candidates for each vacancy with exceptional speed, high accuracy, and complete consistency.
Using Natural Language Processing (NLP), the system takes the detailed job description and the full CV database as inputs and evaluates each profile accordingly. The output is a ranked list of the candidates most relevant to the role.
Match AI is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, allowing it to scale easily, process large volumes of data, and ensure high availability and security at all times.
