Python Developer – AI + Geospatial Intelligence

We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer to join a project on an early-stage phase that is transforming the construction and zoning analysis industry in the U.S.

The platform uses AI and advanced spatial algorithms to help real estate professionals and property owners instantly understand what can be built on any given lot—based on zoning codes and GIS data.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement core backend services in Python.
• Integrate and process GIS datasets using PostGIS and related tools.
• Work with geospatial libraries like Shapely to implement business logic.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability across services.
• Deploy and monitor services in a cloud-native environment (AWS).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Python, building production-ready systems.
• 5+ years of experience as Developer 
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
• Experience working with Docker and deploying to AWS (especially ECS, RDS).
• Strong communication skills and advanced English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to be available for extended hours when required by project demands.

Valued:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Knowledge of GIS concepts is a plus
