About the Project

We're hiring for a US-based client. You'll join a small staffing pod working on a data platform modernization project, with a strong focus on building an API layer that lets satellite applications consume data in a consistent way.

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot

  • Work with API Gateways to expose and manage services consistently

  • Write and optimize SQL queries against a SQL Server / Azure-based data platform

  • Collaborate closely with QA and the rest of the team to ensure API reliability and data consistency

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and API design decisions

  • Communicate progress, blockers, and technical decisions clearly in English

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of experience with Java, with strong hands-on knowledge of Spring Boot

  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs

  • Working knowledge of SQL (this platform runs on SQL Server via Azure)

  • Familiarity with API Gateways

  • Fluent English (daily client communication) and Spanish

  • Comfortable working independently and coordinating with a distributed team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Azure-based cloud environments

  • Familiarity with Postman for API testing/collaboration with QA

  • Experience working on data platform or data integration projects
