Java Developer

At Switch Software, we are looking for 4 Senior Java Developers to join a digital engineering project focused on the financial services.

The main goal of the team will be to migrate a legacy system to newer versions of Java, while establishing best practices and high development standards throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

• Develop code at Backend level
• Maintaining the integrity, quality and organization of the code, collaborating with the support area if necessary in the resolution of incidents
• Interact with the design team for the implementation of functionalities and implements the interaction between the application and the user
• Perform code reviews and approve pull requests from other members of your team based on the complexity of the task and your seniority.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team in designing and launching new product features
• Collaborate with the Tech Leaders, suggesting improvements in the development processes

Requirements:

• Experience with Java (modern versions) 
• Solid knowledge of relational databases 

• Spring  
• Terraform  
• AWS  
• Docker  
• Cucumber or similar tools for test automation
