DevOps Engineer (Ssr/Sr) LATAM

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS and a focus on PHP and Laravel. This is a part-time position that requires a high level of autonomy and advanced English communication skills, as the role involves independent decision-making and minimal direct support.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure in AWS (ECS, EC2, Control Tower, Organizations, RDS, Redis, Networking Services, IAM).

• Ensure compliance with SOC2 standards and strengthen overall security posture.

• Automate deployment and monitoring of applications developed in PHP Laravel, deployed with Envoyer.

• Manage repositories and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.

• Configure and optimize log ingestion and monitoring with Datadog.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure and efficient integrations.

• Continuously improve infrastructure, automation processes, and security practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of DevOps experience (Mid-Senior level).

• Proven experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, Control Tower, Organizations, RDS, Redis, Networking, IAM).

• Knowledge of SOC2 compliance and security best practices.

• Experience with PHP Laravel deployments using Envoyer.

• Hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Datadog for monitoring and log management.

• Advanced English (spoken and written).

• Strong autonomy and self-management skills.

• Availability for a part-time schedule.
